There are many tools used by fortune tellers, magical practitioners, and psychics for predicting the future. The crystal ball is a tool that most everyone is familiar with through popular culture, though very few people actually know the theory behind the use of the ball for gazing.
The practice of using a reflective surface to “receive” psychic images is an ancient one. A variety of reflective surfaces can be used for scrying such as mirrors, crystals, crystal balls, and still pools or bowls of water. Nostradamus is said to have used a scrying bowl when divining the future. Scrying mirrors are pieces glass that are painted black on one side so that the surface gives a dim but clear reflection.
Magic has existed in some form or other since prehistoric times. There are many different schools of magic both new and old. Some magics are ancient and well known. While other forms of magic as just as old and yet obscure and elusive. Then there are newer forms of magic that are being created this very day. Some people mistakenly think that just because a form of magic is older it means that it is more powerful. This just simply isn’t true. All magic was created by human beings. It is an integral part of humanity and human nature. It is the oldest way of connecting with the unknown. It is the oldest way of explaining the unexplained. It is also the oldest means of realizing our inner power and interacting with the forces of nature that surround us.
Many biology students are aware that the human stomach has neurons in it. Neurons are found in various parts of the human body. Some attribute the gut instinct felling that many of us get to this fact. Recently, our Online Think Tank corresponded with a Canadian Belly Dancer and asked:
“Do you believe that Belly Dancers in developing all the abdomen muscles and bouncing all the cells in that region of the body would spur on what many call “Their Gut Instinct” that is to say would belly dancing increase “intuition” abilities in dancers?” We also asked; “If so why? What have you discovered? Do you get a runner’s endorphin high feeling of well being?”
Have you ever had a dream that didn’t feel like it was your own? A dream that was full of strange elements that didn’t make sense to you or in which you found yourself doing things that were out of character? Or what about a dream that was full of people and places that you didn’t recognize? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, you may have been dream walking.
When practicing magic there are many different elements involved. A sacred space or hallowed place to perform the magic is sometimes important. The tools that are necessary such as wands, crystals, stones, or a mirror for scrying. Some magical workings require herbs or other plant materials such resins. There is usually an incantation of sorts depending on the particular magical working. All of these are important elements used in various magics but none are more ancient or powerful than the symbols that are used.
Magic is an ancient tool that is powered by the desire and drive to connect with the universe through nature and influence the surrounding environment. It is also a tool that is used to achieve one’s goals and dreams. There are many different forms of magic and magical practices, but they are all connected by similar basic principals.
Whenever we interact with the inanimate objects that we use on a daily basis, such as jewelry, a favorite mug, or a set of keys, we leave behind an energy signature that contains information about our thoughts and feelings. The same is also true of the places that we inhabit. On some level, the objects record this data that is emitted by our bioelectric field or aura. The higher the base material of the object is in density, the stronger the impressions that are left behind. For example, a metallic object such as jewelry or a key can contain more details than something composed of plastic or some other lighter material. In fact, some plastics won’t record this information at all.
Remote viewing is the ability to see a specific target in detail by using only the power of the mind. It is somewhat similar to astral projection also known as O.B.E. or out-of-body experience. However, it is not in any way the same thing. While remote viewing, the viewer is in a fully conscious waking state of mind. There is no sensation of leaving the body or traveling. Also, during the process of viewing, the viewer receives images and knowledge of the specific target that they are trying to perceive. If practiced frequently, and for extended periods of time, the remote viewer can become tired and/or fatigued. This can be easily avoided with proper pacing.
Energy is everywhere. It permeates everything. Energy is what binds the universe. Our bodies are surging with this energy. Electrical impulses fire off in our brains and race through our nervous systems at the speed of light. The activity of our brain and nervous system creates a field of energy that surrounds our body much like the electromagnetic field that surrounds the Earth. This is known as our bioelectric field or aura. This energy field surrounds all living things including plants.
