While other forms of magic as just as old and yet obscure and elusive. Then there are newer forms of magic that are being created this very day. Some people mistakenly think that just because a form of magic is older it means that it is more powerful. This just simply isn’t true. All magic was created by human beings. It is an integral part of humanity and human nature. It is the oldest way of connecting with the unknown. It is the oldest way of explaining the unexplained. It is also the oldest means of realizing our inner power and interacting with the forces of nature that surround us.

When practicing magic there are many different elements involved. A sacred space or hallowed place to perform the magic is sometimes important. The tools that are necessary such as wands, crystals, stones, or a mirror for scrying. Some magical workings require herbs or other plant materials such resins. There is usually an incantation of sorts depending on the particular magical working. All of these are important elements used in various magics but none are more ancient or powerful than the symbols that are used.

Magic is an ancient tool that is powered by the desire and drive to connect with the universe through nature and influence the surrounding environment. It is also a tool that is used to achieve one’s goals and dreams. There are many different forms of magic and magical practices, but they are all connected by similar basic principals.

Anubis: Utilised when calling for the favours of the Egyptian god of embalming and the underworld.
This is useful when attempting to contact spirits of those who have passed over or when justice is called for or needed. For this task, dress a personal candle with the oil and write your request on a peace of parchment. Place the parchment under the candle and pray to convey your wishes, whilst burning the candle, let the candle burn down fully. This oil may be used in funerary rites to aid the passage of the dead.

Abra Melin: To make a person obey your wishes, by writing what is wanted on the back of the seal of Aziabelis (6th & 7th books of Moses). Anoint the corners of the seal one at a time, chanting each time;

“Do my bidding, I demand,
Follow quickly what I say.
This is my firm command,
Obey at once, or rue the day.”

Kahuna was the Hawaiian title for a priest, expert, teacher, and/or adviser. Among the legendary magical powers of the kahuna nui was the “Huna death prayer.” Usually, it’s mentioned in passing while saying that the secret was lost. Not true. This is how the Huna death prayer was done:

The Kahunas believed that man had two spirits, the lower or subconscious one being illogical and subject ot the influence of hypnotic suggestion. To become able to use the death prayer, a Kahuna had to inherit from another Kahuna one or more (usually about three) unihipili or subconscious spirits though he could, if sufficiently psychic, locate subconscious spirits himself and use hypnotic suggestion to capture and enslave them. (How he might have done that will be discussed in a future post.)
