According to some futurists, our youth will be unprepared in science and math to compete successfully in the global economy by 2010 unless drastic changes to public education are undertaken now. In some communities, grass roots programs are taking place to assist with education. Other places are resorting to coaching our teachers. However, thanks to the Internet, there’s hope for the extreme future.
