The licensed practical nurse (LPN) wage varies based on a lot of different factors. Some of the most important determinants of salary include experience and qualifications, the location where the LPN works, and the type of institution.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of May 2007 the mean annual licensed practical nurse salary was $38,940. There is a wide range of salaries being paid to LPNs however, with the lowest paid 10% of LPNs earning less than $27,370 per year and the highest paid 10% of LPNs making more than $52,160 per year.

Students interested in becoming licensed chiropractors can choose from 16 accredited programs in chiropractic medicine in the United States. However, before you rush to apply, know that applicants should have a minimum of undergraduate education in a number of studies including biology, chemistry, English, and physics, among others.
